Kathmandu: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal's parliamentary party leader and former minister Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has been elected as the country's third vice president on Friday.

Yadav was born on July 9, 2017. Prasad Rai Yadav and his mother. Kachorwa-8 of Bara was born in Baswariya as the youngest son of Sihwa Devi Yadav. He has two brothers and three sisters. In addition, his wife has two sons and a daughter.

He was the general secretary of the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal which was formed by the merger of Madhesi People's Rights Forum Nepal and Federal Samajwadi Party Nepal in 2072. Yadav was elected from Bara Region No. 2 in the House of Representatives election held on November 4. He was previously elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Bara-2 in the year 2074.

He made a strong identity during the Madhes movement and before his political life, he was dedicated to the teaching profession for 23 years in Kalaiya of Bara. He was a teacher of science and mathematics at Shri Panna Devi Kanya Mavi located in Bara Kalaiya.

Yadav, who graduated in science from Sitamarhi College in India and graduated in education from Thakurram Multipurpose Campus Birganj, started his primary education at Shree Nepal National Primary School, Baswariya in his own village.

He started politics from Nepal Sadbhavna Party, when he returned from Sitamarhi in India after studying B.Sc., the 2046 movement had already started in Nepal. At that time, he joined the Sadbhavna Party in 2047 after getting information about the work of the Nepal Sadbhavna Party on the issue of Terai Madhesh.

Yadav is the first leader to go on a fast to death for party unity under the leadership of Anandi Devi in ​​opposition to the division of Nepal Sadbhavana Party in the Raj Viraj Congress after the death of the party's president Gajendra Narayan Singh.

He joined the Madhesi People's Rights Forum in 2059 after he met Upendra Yadav during politics. After that, he was a proportional member in the first Constituent Assembly in 2064, and in 2065, he became the party's general secretary. Yadav is considered a clean and honest leader.

He was a member of the executive committee of the Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, which was formed after the merger between Samajwadi Party and Rashtriya Janata Party (RJP) in 2076. He was the Minister of Forest and Environment in the then Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's government in 2078 and is currently the leader of the Janata Samajwadi Party, the parliamentary party of Nepal.

As a party and government representative, he has visited the United States of America, Poland, China, United Kingdom, Belgium, UAE (United Arab Emirates) and other countries.
